I don't have a technical degree and job experience. I’m a complete noob to this WordPress thing. Is this for me?

Awesome!

You’re starting with a clean slate, which means you have no bias and are receptive to new concepts. I love that! All you need is the drive, determination, and a bit of imagination to succeed at coding and building websites.

You will start with Intro to Coding & Intro to WordPress Modules - all my beginner students start here.

I’ve also got a special course called Zero to WP Hero inside the course that will take you step-by-step as you build your first website in WordPress. This is the perfect place to start, whether you’re a complete noob or possess some basic skills.

Furthermore, you don’t need coding skills, technical degrees, or fancy titles in the tech industry to crush at this. A lot of my students are in the 40-plus demographic, have never heard of WordPress let alone build a site, but I’m proud to say they’re crushing it!

Why can’t I just use a Page Builder and drag-n-drop themes to build sites? Why do I need to code?

Great questions!

You can absolutely build a WordPress site using page builders and drag-and-drop themes. You don’t need to learn how to code to get a decent-looking website up.

However, if you want to:

On my part, I’ve condensed the curriculum into 3 phases. You’ll know what content you can and cannot skip (yes, you have permission to skip around)

What if I take longer than 6 months to launch my business?

You’re still welcome!

If neither the 3-month or the 6-month timeline work for you, and you sense that it may take you longer, that’s totally okay.

Based on the student data we’ve gathered since WP Rockstar’s inception, we’ve found that students generally launch their business in 3 months or 6 months. But it absolutely doesn’t mean it works for everyone.

You’re encouraged to go at your own pace.

Do I need special software to learn how to code & build websites?

Nope. You don’t need to purchase any software to learn how to code & build websites. However, when you’re ready to launch your own website (for business purposes), you’ll need to purchase a domain name (approximately $10-$20/year) and website hosting (approximately $5-$10/month).

What’s the Rockstar Community like? I’m wondering if I’ll fit in because I’m (too old/too young/live in Estonia/no tech skills)?

The Rockstar community consists of like-minded peeps who’ve got skin in the game, genuinely want to see everyone succeed, and are there for you when you’ve broken a client’s website or have a code-red situation…

...there’s little probability of you staying trapped in your basement till 3 AM troubleshooting issues in isolation and an increased likelihood that you’ve solved the issue within minutes.
